• Cashier/Checker is responsible for greeting, engaging, and assisting customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle various tenders and understand the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay updated on current promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for customers.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
