As a Security Officer – Unarmed Logistics Patrol Specialist in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a logistics and distribution location. Your presence helps deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help deter unwanted activity and/or access.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors and deliveries as required by site policies.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security‑related concerns.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
