Teaching Assistant Level 3 KS1

The Headteacher of one of our local community Primary Schools in Millom is looking to recruit a very capable and experienced Teaching Assistant to support in all years of classes, from Reception to Year 6.

Full‑time requirement:
Monday to Friday, 9 am – 3 pm.

• Support children within KS1 and KS2 classes.
• Show adaptability and flexibility in supporting all year groups.
• Participate as a team player within the support staff.

• Passionate about supporting children of all levels and with varying needs.
• Knowledge of working with children with SEND.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification required.
• Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check and copy of original qualifications required prior to placement.
