Pyramid Healthcare at Tapestry is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric experience to join our team serving the Mills River area. This role plays a vital part in delivering high‑quality, person‑centered mental health care that supports our clients’ well‑being and long‑term recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated treatment
- Provide education and supportive counseling to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of North Carolina
- Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Flexibility and reliability to work on a PRN (as needed) basis
