Night Shift Evisceration Supervisor

Primary Purpose

Supervise and coordinate night shift operations in the evisceration department
, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining alignment of people, processes, and resources. This role is critical in overseeing bird processing, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and USDA regulations
, and supporting a safe, efficient work environment.

• Staffing & Scheduling
  :
  Ensure correct staffing levels nightly to meet production demand and maintain efficient workflow.
• Operational Oversight
  :
  Direct evisceration line operations, ensuring SOPs and Good Production Practices (GPPs) are consistently followed.
• Food Safety & Quality
  :
  Monitor product quality and compliance with USDA guidelines and HACCP principles; implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Performance Metrics
  :
  Achieve and exceed department KPIs including BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A Grade %.
• Compliance & Training
  :
  Enforce HR and Safety policies, manage Kronos and Oracle HCM requests, and ensure timely completion of safety certifications.
• Continuous Improvement
  :
  Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and strengthen safety practices in evisceration.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, or Business preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience (poultry or food manufacturing strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP principles, and food safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑volume evisceration environment.
