Night Shift Department Supervisor – Cone Debone; Foodmate Automation

Primary Purpose

Direct and oversee night shift operations in the cone debone department
, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining alignment of people, processes, and resources. This role is essential in driving performance and efficiency with Foodmate automated cone debone equipment
.

• Staffing & Scheduling
  :
  Ensure correct staffing levels nightly to meet production demand and fulfill customer orders.
• Operational Oversight
  :
  Manage Foodmate cone debone lines, ensuring SOPs and Good Production Practices (GPPs) are consistently followed
• Quality & Food Safety
  :
  Monitor product quality and packaging specifications, implement corrective actions for defects, and uphold USDA and HACCP standards.
• Performance Metrics
  :
  Achieve and exceed department KPIs including BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A Grade %.
• Compliance & Training
  :
  Enforce HR and Safety policies, manage Kronos and Oracle HCM requests, and ensure timely completion of safety certifications.
• Continuous Improvement
  :
  Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize Foodmate cone debone automation performance and reduce downtime.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, or Business preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience (poultry or food manufacturing strongly preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with Foodmate cone debone automation highly desirable.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and USDA sanitation/pre‑op guidelines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
