Job DescriptionWastewater Level C Operator understands most of the overall operations, can rebuild all pumps/equipment, and must hold a Level III WW License with at least two years of direct responsible charge experience. This role is an overnight shift and includes a $5,000 sign‑on bonus (approved only for licensed operators).
Duties / Activities- Assist in controlling the overall environmental compliance program for the water treatment system, including monitoring, reporting, and sampling required by federal, state, and local regulations.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
- Operate the water treatment system, maintain the maintenance schedule, and respond to repairs.
- Maintain compliance recordkeeping.
- Perform process control laboratory work.
- Associate’s Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college/university or equivalent credit hours in a board‑approved curriculum.
- Four years of acceptable operating experience in wastewater facilities of Class II or higher, with at least two years in a direct responsible charge position.
- Level III WW license.
