Nurse - RN (Per Diem)

Mountaire Farms is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct care in an industrial setting. The role supports the Occupational Health Manager and performs post‑offer physicals, drug and alcohol screenings, First Aid, wellness education and OSHA compliance.

Provide medical services to employees, manage worker's compensation cases, uphold safety protocols and assist in health and wellness initiatives.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to employees and ensure all medical tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist with worker's compensation management and compliance programs including respiratory, blood borne pathogens (BBP) and hearing screenings.
• Initiate incident investigations, schedule follow‑up visits, and communicate with Safety and management.
• Adhere to health management protocols, medical directives, policies, procedures and physician standing orders following company guidelines.
• Assist with projects delegated by the Occupational Health Manager.
• Assist with compliance of drug and alcohol testing programs.

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Emergency, occupational health, urgent care or other relevant experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) strongly preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED Card.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

Per diems primarily for the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Compensation ranges from $85,000 – $90,000 per year. Additional benefits include paid holidays, health & wellness centers, dental and vision plans, 401(k) with company matching, profit sharing, employee discounts, and tuition reimbursement.
