Position: HUMAN RESOURCES/RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

Human Resources/Recruitment Specialist - Full-Time (40 hours per week) On Site $17.00 per hour

For more than 60 years, The Cumberland County Guidance Center has been a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. As a non-profit organization, our dedicated team of professionals, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, works to diagnose and treat all types of mental illness.

What does this position look like

As a full time employee, the Human Resources/Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the support of the Guidance Center's Human Resources Department. Proactively recruits employees for vacant positions. Attends job fairs and creates resources to secure employees for vacant positions. Aggressively processes applications for new employees, posts documents and communicates with applicants to ensure all documents are received in a timely manner.

Onboarding, offboarding and personnel record management, new hire orientation, and management of credentials. Responsible for management of employee clinical licenses or certifications- obtaining, copying, providing copy to Billing when applicable, verifying, scanning and filing.

What you need to apply
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational abilities and effective time‑management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience creating, editing, and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources.
  • Prior recruitment experience required.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five‑year driving record that meets organizational and insurance requirements.

A Background Check is required Clear Five year driving record/abstract with ability to be insured by organization's carrier.
