The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $16.75 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $16.75 USD - $25.15 USD per hour.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services to drive adoption

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and convey appreciation for choosing Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain features of the Target App including Wallet; guide guests to use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering
• Assist with returns following store policies and procedures, escalating to Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Stock supplies during store hours and remain available for guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; report hazards and take corrective action where possible
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and related duties in compliance with laws and store policies
• All other duties based on business needs

• You are open to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times

• Effective communication with positive language and attentiveness to guest needs
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology, and to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office functions as needed
• Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance required
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
