Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and managing multiple customers efficiently.Understand and meet customer needs: Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct to merchandise, and offer recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling based on product availability.Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store activities to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales.Resolve customer concerns: Address issues using product knowledge, offering alternatives to turn returns into exchanges when possible.Communicate needs to management: Keep management informed about restocking, service needs, and customer feedback in a timely manner.Support team and company goals: Collaborate with team members to achieve store and company objectives, fostering a positive environment.Qualifications
At least 16 years oldAvailability for a flexible scheduleWillingness to learn and use technology (cash registers, mobile devices)Good communication skills and ability to engage with customersCourteous and professional handling of customer interactionsBasic problem-solving skillsAbility to learn procedures through on-the-job trainingEssential Job Functions
Operate cash register frequentlyMove merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and reach items up to 10 feet highAscend/descend ladders for stock retrieval and storagePosition self for kneeling, bending, twisting, and stoopingCommunicate with customers and team members accuratelyAssist customers across the sales floor and stock roomWork flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts and travelFollow instructions from emails and print materialsRemain stationary and upright for 80% of the timeExplore our benefits at to discover health, financial, and personal wellness perks.
