Overview
Kaffe Magnum Opus (KMO Coffee) is a wholesale coffee roaster serving high-end coffee houses, cafes, niche shops, and restaurants around the country, mostly east of the Mississippi River. We have the broadest selection of specialty coffee available and phenomenal customer service! We are seeking experienced business to business salespeople to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the consultative sales process, be results-driven, possess strong communication and telephone skills, be professional, dependable, organized and detail oriented, as well as a self-starter who knows the value of product knowledge.
The individual will work independently and as part of a team.
This position is in the office and will require outgoing phone calls to leads and prospects throughout the day. There will be limited travel to trade shows and to appointments with prospects and customers.
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed KMO’s monthly and annual sales goals
- Contact leads by phone and determine if viable prospects
- Schedule appointments with decision makers
- Ask open-ended questions, listen and determine how KMO coffee will benefit their business
- Prepare and present a proposal to the prospect
- Close, close, close the sale!
- Analyze your sales cycle and make changes that will increase sales
- Customer retention
- Record activities in CRM and prepare reports, as required by KMO
- Minimum of one year of recent B to B sales experience
- MS Office and Excel proficiency; CRM experience is helpful
- A current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Drinking coffee to learn and recognize characteristics is necessary. KMO will provide product knowledge training.
- A passion for coffee is a plus!
