BRIXCO Construction, Inc. is looking for an experienced and detail‑driven Estimator / Project Manager to take a lead role in both project estimation and execution. This dual‑function position is instrumental in delivering successful projects by ensuring accurate cost forecasting, effective planning, and seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze plans, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Perform site visits to assess project scope, jobsite conditions, and logistical constraints.
  • Prepare detailed take‑offs and cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure pricing and scope alignment.
  • Identify project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and develop value‑engineering options.
  • Manage cost databases, historical pricing, and current market trends for estimation accuracy.
  • Lead all phases of project execution — from planning and procurement to closeout.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure profitability and timeline compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain communication.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
  • Facilitate regular progress meetings and provide status updates to leadership and clients.
  • Ensure project sites comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team growth and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to generate repeat business and expand market presence.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in estimating and/or project management in the civil construction industry.
  • Proficient in reading construction plans, scopes of work, and technical specifications.
  • Strong command of construction estimating, project controls, and cost tracking.
  • Familiar with local, state, and federal construction codes and standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a high‑paced environment.
  • Organized, resourceful, and results‑oriented.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday through Friday
