BRIXCO Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to lead our dynamic estimating team in the civil construction industry. In this key leadership role, you'll drive the estimating process for projects up to $4 million, refine bid strategies, and maximize profitability across our growing portfolio. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Analyze plans, specifications, and documentation to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for projects up to $4M.
• Conduct detailed quantity take‑offs and comprehensive cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Evaluate project scope, constraints, and risks by conducting site visits.
• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids for competitive pricing and compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze production rates for earthwork, wet utilities, concrete, asphalt paving, seal coating, and striping.
• Utilize B2W Estimate software, Bluebeam, and other tools to optimize estimating workflow.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Mentor and review estimates prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy and alignment with company pricing expectations.
• Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop and refine bid strategies.
• Engage with customers to enhance BRIXCO's presence and secure opportunities on key bid lists.
• Stay up to date on local, state, and federal regulations affecting the construction industry.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in civil construction estimating.
• Proven experience with grading, concrete, wet utilities, and/or asphalt estimating.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
• Proficiency with B2W Estimate or similar estimating software.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Strong experience negotiating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with construction regulations and industry standards.
