Position: Preschool Montessori Teacher Full Time

Global Village Montessori Preschool is a quality preschool with a balanced curriculum that is well-liked by children, parents, and teachers.

Our teachers are passionate childhood educators and love being with children. We are looking for teachers who are kind-hearted and can provide a stimulating environment for the children. Our goal is to celebrate diversity and provide a comfortable environment for teachers, children and parents. We celebrate a number of events in the school from various cultures. Job Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Familiarity with early intervention strategies and techniques
  • Passion for working with young learners and helping them reach their full potential
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians
  • 12 ECE units
  • Related AA/ BS
  • AMS or AMI Montessori certification or 2+ years experience working in a montessori classroom.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate classroom activities for a group of students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
  • Provide instruction in math, literacy education, and other subjects as needed
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment for children
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
  • Implement early intervention strategies for students who may need additional support
  • Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines
  • Foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child
