Junior Technician

Due to the expansion of our US facility in Milpitas, CA, we are looking for Junior Technician (JT) to join our team.

As a Junior Technician in our US application engineering group, you will provide technical support for our wireless products, such as public safety and commercial repeaters & antennas for US customers. The candidate must be hands on, creative, provide technical vision and expertise to contribute to Comba’s advanced product offering. Some of other responsibilities are listed below:

• Installing and assembling electronic and passive modules within a chassis and/or sub-system
• The ability to assemble a test-jig to calibrate equipment
• Accomplish accurate RF measurements (gain, flatness, return loss, IP3, P1dB, noise figure and spurs)
• Perform final testing for end user product release
• Document detailed test results on end user products

• Associate’s degree, or equivalent, in the electronic or technical/scientific field
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assembly
• Knowledge of basic RF theory and testing techniques
• Familiar with the use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters and oscilloscopes
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills and works well in a team environment
• Lift and handle equipment up to 75lbs
• Possible limited travel (5%)
• This is NOT a remote position
