* Key Responsibilities:

*** Lead development of new hardware features and subsystems
* Define system-level requirements and contribute to specifications and interface definitions
* Apply electron optics expertise to optimize system performance
* Develop and execute test plans for system characterization
* Design and run experiments; write scripts for data collection and analysis
* Troubleshoot complex system issues across software, electronics, mechanics, and optics
* Use structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, 7-Step) to resolve issues
* Collaborate with manufacturing and service teams to implement solutions
* Mentor junior engineers and align teams toward program goals
* Present technical findings to leadership and global stakeholders
*
* Qualifications:

*** Strong background in Systems Engineering.
* Expertise in Electron Optics.
* Experience with Ultra-High Vacuum systems (preferred)
* Hands-on experience developing and testing hardware systems.
* Strong analytical and scripting skills for data analysis.
* Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Self-driven with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
** Minimum Qualifications
** Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience;
Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years;
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Base Pay Range: $ - $Primary
