Robo Force is an AI robotics company building Physical AI and Robo-Labor system for dull, dirty, and dangerous work. Our flagship robot, TITAN, is a super humanoid robot designed for industrial environments. We are based in Milpitas, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are seeking a Senior Robotics Technician and Lab Manager to oversee our robotics lab operations and to help with engineering tasks in support of our robot development. You’ll manage daily lab operations, enforce safety protocols, maintain equipment, and set up workstations for 3D printing, laser cutting, soldering, machining, and painting. You’ll also handle inventory, assembly, calibration, and basic experiment support.

This role is hands‑on, highly organized, and perfect for someone experienced in lab management and robotics operations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enforce lab safety protocols, conduct training, and keep the lab organized.
  • Set up workstations for 3D printing, laser cutting, soldering, machining, and painting, ensuring safety compliance.
  • Oversee daily lab operations, coordinate with teams, and manage consumables.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and manage parts inventory, kitting, shipping, and receiving.
  • Assemble, cable, align, and calibrate mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Support experiments with basic testing, data logging, and reporting.
Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in lab management, robotics, or automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Familiarity with machine shop setup, lab safety protocols, and PPE standards.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills, including cabling, alignment, and calibration.
  • Proficient in inventory management, kitting, and coordinating shipping/receiving.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to oversee lab operations and cross‑team coordination.
  • Requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration with the teams.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with automation systems or autonomous vehicles.
  • Hands‑on experience with 3D printing, soldering, welding, drilling, and cutting.
  • Has supported robotic system integration, maintenance, and mechatronic assembly.
  • Has supervised and mentored junior technicians.
