Job Summary

A privately founded engineering firm, established in 1999, specializes in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering. The firm prides itself on delivering projects ahead of schedule and under budget, fueled by a dedicated team of skilled engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of mechanical system designs from concept through final documentation.
  • Conduct on‑site assessments and field verifications.
  • Perform HVAC load and energy efficiency calculations (Title 24).
  • Draft duct layouts and system schematics.
  • Prepare equipment schedules and specifications.
  • Assist in the development of mechanical control diagrams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, structural engineers, civil consultants, electrical designers) to ensure design consistency and integration.
  • Help manage construction document sets and respond to construction questions (e.g., RFIs, submittals, revisions).
  • Participate in internal reviews to ensure quality and accuracy of technical drawings and project documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and exposure to California building codes and construction processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a project team.
  • Field or hands‑on construction experience is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred; relevant experience may also qualify.
