Robo Force is an AI robotics company building Physical AI and Robo‑Labor system for dull, dirty, and dangerous work. Our flagship robot, TITAN, is a super humanoid robot designed for industrial environments. We are based in Milpitas, CA and require 5 days/week in‑office collaboration.
Join our team as a Senior Localization and Mapping Engineer to design and implement cutting‑edge algorithms for precise robot localization and environmental mapping. Your expertise in computer vision and sensor fusion will directly enhance robotic performance in dynamic, real‑world environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test localization and mapping algorithms for autonomous systems.
- Create robust and scalable solutions for dynamic indoor and outdoor environments.
- Enhance localization through multi‑sensor data fusion.
- Develop and maintain high‑quality software for real‑world deployment.
- Collaborate with hardware and AI teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Stay updated on advancements in SLAM and AI technologies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of classical computer vision algorithms and feature matching.
- Experience with LiDAR, RGB‑D cameras, IMU, GNSS, and calibration.
- Proficiency in linear algebra, probability, optimization techniques, and C++.
- Requires 5 days/week in‑office collaboration with the teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, or related field.
- Published work in AI robotics solutions.
- Familiarity with deep learning techniques for localization and mapping.
- Expertise in learning‑based vision techniques and real‑time GPU programming.
- Experience with actuators, sensors, and low‑level control systems.
- Proven ability to optimize and deploy real‑time autonomous systems in fast‑paced environments.
