Field Service Engineer ; Non-Exempt

Responsible for ensuring Onto Innovation's customers receive a high level of support through real‑time communication and system knowledge.

• Install new systems within the US region.
• Respond to customer requests for tool support and regular maintenance.
• Provide technical assistance to ONTO's US customers in real time in both onsite and remote situations.
• Read electrical and hardware schematics.
• Communicate daily status both internally and externally.
• Time management in high pressure situations.
• Flexibility and adaptability.

• Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Industry.
• College/University degree in engineering.
• Ability to identify and use common hand tools.
• Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.
• Troubleshooting experience in electrical, mechanical and software applications.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills in a technical environment.
• Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the US and internationally, approximately 75% of the time.

• Base Salary Range: $56,240.00 - $84,360.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
