Electrical Engineer (hybrid)
* hybrid role requires on-site work activity a few days each week (exact days TBD)
The EPE is responsible for owning the electrical technical content of the product, builds, and validation from pre-concept commit through end of life (EOL) and ongoing engineering (Dfx) for a specific product, or group of products, to support product success.

Analysis and design input for manufacturability, fulfillment and product quality. Involved in cost avoidance (NPI), value engineering, circular economy opportunities, and supply chain technical capability.

Identifies design related opportunities to enable cost reduction and component related yield improvements. Supports Supply Chain team with risk mitigation strategies (multi-source tech assessment, component, cost variance, supply chain review, and negotiations). Reviews manufacturing capacity / capability, design stability, risk planning.

Actively seeks and incorporates standard methodologies and results from post-project assessments into new products

Collaborates with design, process, test and reliability engineering to tackle problems, using structured problem-solving techniques where applicable. Who You'll Work With You will be working very closely with HW Engineering, Product Management/Marketing, Product Ops team, Global Supplier Management (GSM), External Vendors/Suppliers, Mfg Ops and EMS/JDM partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

BSEE in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent​1+ years related experience in product development and manufacturing process.

Understanding of DFx principles and tools.​

Preferred Qualifications:

PCBA Manufacturing experience

Direct experience with device qualification, conversant with JEDEC qualification requirements.

Failure Analysis experience

Ability to thrive in a complex environment
