As part of the U.S. Payroll team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for over 2,100 employees across 35+ states. This position requires strong technical expertise and attention to detail to manage end-to-end payroll operations using Ceridian Dayforce Payroll, while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams such as Benefits, HR, Compensation, Global Mobility, and Stock Plan Administration.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end payroll processing for U.S. employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain and validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, stock income reporting, fringe benefits, and bonuses.
- Ensure data integrity across multiple systems and collaborate with internal teams to support benefits and retirement processing.
- Partner with global mobility and third‑party providers to manage tax compliance for employees on international assignments.
- Identify operational and regulatory risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure compliance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to employees and resolve payroll‑related inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to company standards.
- Prepare and verify documentation, reports, and declarations for regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate daily with HR and Finance to align payroll processes and resolve issues related to outsourced services.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws, internal audit requirements, and payroll deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of U.S. payroll experience, with expert knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years hands‑on experience with Ceridian Dayforce Payroll is required – candidates without this experience will not be considered.
- Experience with Workday HCM (HR system of record) and strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate across functions.
