Job Description

The Senior Compensation Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the design, implementation, and governance of global compensation programs that align with the organization’s business objectives and talent strategy. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in compensation strategy, financial modeling, and data analytics, who can influence senior leadership and guide decision‑making across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative approach to solving complex compensation challenges. This role will lead high‑impact initiatives, manage cross‑functional stakeholder relationships, and ensure our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our values and goals.

  • Lead enterprise‑wide compensation strategy and execution, including base pay, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and equity programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and market competitiveness.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior HR and business leaders on compensation matters, providing insights and recommendations that influence talent decisions and organizational outcomes.
  • Design and oversee complex financial models to evaluate compensation scenarios, forecast cost impacts, and support executive‑level decision‑making.
  • Own the governance and evolution of global compensation frameworks, including job architecture, salary structures, and incentive plan design.
  • Drive the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit, bonus, and equity processes, partnering with HRIS, Finance, and Talent teams to ensure seamless execution and data integrity.
  • Lead market benchmarking and survey participation, interpreting results to inform pay positioning and strategy across geographies and functions.
  • Monitor and interpret global compensation trends, regulatory changes, and emerging practices to proactively adjust programs and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and deliver compelling communication materials for leaders and employees to promote understanding and transparency of compensation programs.
  • Mentor and guide compensation team members, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion pay equity and transparency initiatives, leveraging data to identify gaps and drive actionable solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CCP certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in compensation strategy and program management, ideally in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional projects and managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • In‑depth knowledge of compensation practices, trends, and relevant labor laws.
Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with compensation systems and survey platforms.
