Associate Test Engineer

Job Description

Pay Range: $27.50hr - $33hr

• The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for building, setting up, calibrating, and testing mechanical assemblies and final systems.
• This role includes troubleshooting, performing rework when necessary, preparing technical reports, and assisting in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, testing procedures, and production support.

• Build, set up, calibrate, and test mechanical assemblies and final systems.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform rework on assemblies or systems as required by test results.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
• Audit for accuracy and deliver material kits based on production requirements.

• Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.

• Ability to acquire and apply job skills while learning company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
• Capability to handle assignments that are routine or semi-routine in nature, with limited judgment and minimal decision-making.
• Ability to follow established procedures for routine work and take instructions on new assignments.
