Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Duration: 18 months

• The consultant will perform advanced hands‑on manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment, supporting the production of semiconductor components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• This role works closely with engineers on equipment setup, calibration, troubleshooting, rework, and quality testing. They will handle delicate wafer materials, operate lab equipment, and follow strict cleanroom, ESD, and quality standards while maintaining high productivity and precision.

• Perform hands‑on manufacturing work in a cleanroom environment (≈95% of time)
• Handle semiconductor wafers, including transferring from clamshells to FOSBs, following ESD and cleanroom protocols
• Execute cleaning, inspection, assembly, measurement, and shipment preparation tasks
• Set up, configure, and adjust lab equipment and modules to meet product and customer requirements
• Support high‑volume production while maintaining quality, precision, and attention to detail
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; make adjustments to achieve specifications
• Perform calculations and accurately record production and measurement data
• Work independently and collaboratively, managing changing priorities and deadlines
• Follow all safety, ISO, quality, and company procedures; lift materials up to ~25 lbs as required

• 5+ years of manufacturing‑related experience preferred
• Ability to read, understand, and follow assembly and manufacturing documentation in full
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with hand tools and machine tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of ESD practices and cleanroom protocols
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs. using appropriate equipment if required
• Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in a cleanroom environment
