CoreResponsibilities
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
- Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly
- Reads and clearly follows processes that are required
- Contributes to division results and performance
- Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations. Operate equipment specific to area such as:
- CARBON:
Bag products, samples and test;
Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace;
Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste water treatment plant - REGEN:
Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch;
Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottle
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of experience in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of chemicals used in specific process
- Must complete site specific safety training and operator training
- Ability to communicate clearly to team members
- Familiarity with MS Office suites
- Preferred: some manufacturing/plant experience and forklift driving
- CARBON:
Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training
The payrate for this role is $25/hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
