Position SummarySTATS ChipPAC is looking for a Senior Sales Manager who can use advanced technical knowledge and sales ability to sell products/services to new and existing customers, engaged in both new business and existing accounts, defines and implements sales strategies and plans that will outperform quota and deliver net profit, integrated with the local sales team and liaising with PTM, TPM, AMs and RM.
KeyJob Accountabilities
- Generating sales revenue from existing customers. Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota.
- Identifying and calling on potential new customers.
- Screening potential accounts to ensure a fit between the customer’s requirements and the company’s capabilities.
- Managing the sales process for new accounts from initial contact through the entire process.
- Negotiate with customers on contracts and pricing.
- Calls on customers, provides technical and administrative product/service information and or presentations, and quotes appropriate customer prices.
- Being the main contact point between the company and customers in all sales-related matters; understanding of customer’s business and product requirements.
- Provide information on customer needs, volume potential, pricing, and competition.
- May provide technical guidance to other levels of sales representatives.
- Provide input into product direction.
- Works closely with PTM, TPM, and AMs in implementing the company’s sales strategies.
- Building customer relationships and intimacy.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis on target end-products.
- Regularly provide information to regional manager on accounts and business activity.
- Frequently interact with customers and all level of management in the company.
- Have direct impact on the company’s revenue and profitability performance.
- College degree (preferably in engineering) with relevant sales experience is required.
- Sound knowledge of the company’s products or knowledge of electronics and OSAT industry.
- A self-motivated, go-and-get approach and the will to win.
- Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Superior interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior management, both internally and externally.
- An organized, team approach.
- 8 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry or related field.
