Enterprise Sales Account Manager - Milpitas, California

Mission Hires is helping Silicon Motion seek an experienced Enterprise Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth and design wins for turnkey SSD boot drive solutions with enterprise, hyperscaler, and large data center customers. This role owns the full sales cycle, builds strategic customer relationships, coordinates internal technical and operational teams, and expands Silicon Motion’s presence across U.S. enterprise storage accounts.

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with targeted enterprise, hyperscaler, and large data center customers to drive account penetration and long-term growth.
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle for turnkey SSD boot drive solutions, from prospecting and technical engagement through qualification, proof of concept, design-in, and mass-production ramp.
• Understand customer data center server architectures and boot-storage requirements, and develop tailored solution proposals that secure design wins and recurring-volume business.
• Serve as the primary customer interface and coordinate FAE, product, engineering, and supply chain teams to address technical, commercial, and delivery issues.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing reviews, and contract execution while protecting margins and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline, deliver reliable forecasts, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue and design-win targets.
• Monitor data center market trends, competitor activity, and customer roadmaps, providing feedback that informs product and sales strategy.
• Expand the footprint within key accounts by identifying upsell opportunities and pursuing new projects with existing data center and cloud customers.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of combined experience in sales, business development, and account management.
• Demonstrated success in semiconductor sales within the NAND memory and storage sector, particularly enterprise and data center SSD solutions.
• Established relationships and extensive connections within the U.S. enterprise, hyperscaler, and data center ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of NAND, storage, semiconductor technologies, and relevant market trends.
• Hunter mindset with a track record of proactively prospecting, networking, and driving new business growth.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles involving technical qualification, design-ins, commercial negotiations, and production ramps.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Strategic, results-driven approach with strong forecasting and pipeline-management capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, business development, engineering, product, FAE, supply chain, and sales teams.
