Youth Soccer Coach

Challenger Sports is looking for reliable, energetic and enthusiastic soccer coaches to fill roles in our British Soccer Academy and Tiny Tykes programs.

What is Tiny Tykes? Tiny Tykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2‑6. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 minutes each. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills.

• Weekly 45‑60 minute sessions.
• Classes run Monday through Sunday, back‑to‑back.
• Coaches provided with uniform, equipment, training and curriculum.
• Flexible part‑time working hours with opportunity to work in a rewarding and fun environment. Classes typically take place at preschools and sports complexes.
• Begin working in September for a 6‑8 week block of sessions.
• Compensation: $260‑400 per week, bonus schemes available. Pay is dependent on experience.

What is British Soccer Academy? Professional year‑round coaching.

• Mentor and provide support to the organization and coaching staff.
• Deliver in‑house coach clinics and coach education.
• Be a positive role model and offer clear and continual feedback to players, parents and coaches.
• Act as an ambassador of Challenger Sports.
• Coaching hours: average 15‑30 hours per week with the balance of 35 hours in‑office marketing maintenance.
• Compensation: paid weekly depending upon the number of previous seasons worked as a trainer.

Requirements:

• Criminal background check or willingness to begin application.
• Must be aware of current first aid procedures.
• Personable, highly energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
• Playing/coaching experience is preferred.
• Valid work authorization.
