Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be working with a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice in their search for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team.

You will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, supporting them with compliance, advisory and general accounting matters, while working closely with managers and partners across the practice.

• Acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Preparing Corporation Tax Returns, Self Assessment Tax Returns and P11
  
  Ds
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Preparing Real Time Capital Gains Tax reports
• Liaising with clients to identify potential tax planning opportunities
• Ensuring deadlines and workload are managed effectively
• Supporting managers with ad-hoc assignments and project work

• AAT qualified and studying towards ACA or ACCA (ACA/ACCA Qualified preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within UK practice
• Strong experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software
• Experience with Iris would be advantageous
• Able to manage a varied workload and portfolio effectively

• Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home)
