Ignite Programme – School Leaver Experience

Our Ignite Programme is an intensive four‑day work experience designed for Year 12 and 13 students who want to explore a career in accountancy. Over the course of the week you’ll gain real‑world insight by working alongside our Audit teams and engaging in hands‑on projects, skills development sessions, and networking opportunities throughout Grant Thornton.

  Milton Keynes office – in‑person (must be within commuting distance)
• Full attendance required

• Work on live audit projects with experienced teams
• Participate in development sessions focused on professional skills
• Engage in teamwork and problem‑solving activities
• Build a network by meeting colleagues across the firm
• Explore how businesses operate and learn about career pathways in accountancy

• Designed for Year 12 and 13 students (as of September 2026)
• Interested in starting a career in accountancy after school
• No prior work experience needed
• Enthusiastic, curious, and keen on business
