About the role
£32,500 - £35,000 (Depending on Experience) | Hybrid Working (4 Days Office, 1 Day Home)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Billing Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role would suit someone with billing, sales ledger or accounts receivable experience gained within a fast-paced, high-volume invoicing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and processing high volumes of customer invoices.
- Supporting end-to-end billing activities, including applications for payment and consolidated billing.
- Uploading and managing invoices via customer portals.
- Processing credit notes and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate records of billed and unbilled work.
- Assisting with reconciliations and ensuring all billable activity is captured.
- Investigating and resolving customer billing queries.
- Liaising with operational teams to obtain accurate billing information.
- Supporting process improvement and system enhancement projects.
About You
- Previous experience within Billing, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable.
- Experience working in a high-volume invoicing environment.
