As Lead Administrator at Amplius, you will play a key role in supporting the Operational Support Manager to deliver efficient, high-quality responsive repairs and empty homes services. You will ensure smooth administrative support across the Response service, enabling a seamless customer experience, while also line managing colleagues and helping to develop and strengthen the service for its ongoing future success.
Salary: £38,000 per year
Contract:
Permanent, full time
Your week: 36.25 hours Monday – Friday 8.45am – 5pm
Location:
Hybrid with a weekly presence in our Milton Keynes office
Snapshot of your role
* Lead and support a team of administrators across empty homes and responsive repairs
* Act as the key contact for administrative queries within Amplius
* Use the scheduling system effectively to manage appointments and daily activity
* Resolve same-day issues and handle escalated queries with clear guidance
* Ensure records, job closures and bookings are accurate and up to date
* Identify service pressures, report inefficiencies and support training and improvements
What you’ll need to thrive in this role
* Strong understanding of housing repairs and building maintenance
* Proven experience leading teams in a customer-focused environment
* Confident in scheduling works and managing delivery of programmes
* Skilled at prioritising, adapting and taking ownership of outcomes
* Able to analyse data to drive service improvements
* Organised, resilient and collaborative, with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
