Position: Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive

Overview

Salary: £39,886 per year

Contract: Permanent, full time

Week: 36.25 hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.15pm

Location: Hybrid with a minimum of two days per week working between our Milton Keynes and Rushden offices.

Snapshot of your role
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive, including managing diaries, inboxes and correspondence.
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, papers and supporting materials, and taking accurate minutes where required.
  • Manage travel, accommodation and itineraries in an efficient and cost‑effective way.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and other documents to support business activities.
  • Support governance processes, including coordinating and distributing papers for Executive and senior leadership meetings.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and records using systems such as Teams and SharePoint, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for colleagues and external stakeholders, while supporting events, projects, financial administration and acting as a brand ambassador for Amplius.
What We’re Looking For
  • GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrator.
  • Experience managing complex diaries, correspondence and meeting arrangements.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to build positive relationships, work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to changing priorities.
