Job Summary
Join Our Teams in Milton Keynes as a Patient Navigator! Flexible full‑time (40 hours/week) or part‑time (less than 40 hours/week) positions are available. Your base location will be either Whitehouse Surgery or Brooklands Surgery, with the opportunity to provide reception and administrative support across all One Medical Group practices in Milton Keynes when required.
Main Duties- Welcoming patients and visitors, managing check‑ins, and providing appointment information.
- Answering phone calls and handling patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Scheduling and managing appointments using our Systm One system.
- Processing prescription requests from patients and pharmacies.
- Handling patient queries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and letters, with accuracy.
- Keeping the reception area tidy and ensuring smooth handovers for colleagues.
- Completing administrative tasks such as patient registrations and updates.
- A confident communicator with a friendly, patient, and professional attitude.
- Someone who can handle a fast‑paced, demanding environment with ease.
- Prior experience in healthcare or administrative roles is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible and collaborative approach, willing to support multiple practice locations across Milton Keynes.
