Join Our Client as a Clerical/Admin Officer in Milton Keynes!

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to support a dynamic team? Our client, a reputable organisation within the Network Rail family, is hiring for a Clerical/Admin Officer to join their Training Team in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to essential training operations in a hybrid working environment.

    The Quadrant, Elder Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 1EN
  • Working hours:

    35 hours per week, hybrid (3 days in office)
  • Pay rate: £13.45 per hour
  • Contract length:
    Initially 3 months, with potential for extension
  • Start date:

    31 August 2027
  • Basic DBS clearance required
  • Interviews conducted via Teams with the client if your CV is successful
What you'll be doing:
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Training Team
  • Booking venues and managing event logistics
  • Raising purchase orders and coordinating supplies for training sessions
  • Issuing questionnaires and joining instructions to participants
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination
  • Supporting the team with various ad hoc administrative tasks
What you'll bring:
  • Proven administrative and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience in event management and logistics
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • IT proficiency, especially in Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Physically fit, as lifting may be involved during event setup
  • Flexibility to work between 10am and 4pm, with the option to start as early as 8am
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, with expenses covered
