Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician at their main dealership in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This is a excellent opportunity for skilled Vehicle Technicians to join a manufacturer-backed dealership committed to ongoing training and professional development.

Our client is looking to appoint both Service Technicians and Diagnostic Technicians to their busy workshop. Basic salary up to £38,500
Bonus scheme with OTE circa £42,000

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
Complete routine inspections, health checks, and vehicle repairs efficiently
Maintain high standards of safety and quality in line with manufacturer and company guidelines
Accurately complete job records and manage electronic workshop documentation

Requirements:

Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent
Proven experience as a Service Technician or Diagnostic Technician
Strong mechanical knowledge; diagnostic experience preferred for Diagnostic Technician applicants
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and organisational abilities
Full UK driving licence
