Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division and work in a new era of mobile automotive repair.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver scheduled roadside servicing, diagnostics, and in‑depth repairs to members’ vehicles.
  • Provide member advice and recommendations based on a thorough inspection.
  • Complete vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
  • Work according to a clear digital schedule – no reactive callouts, only pre‑booked appointments.
  • Use a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tool set and advanced diagnostics.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than six points.
