Job Summary

At Sensient Technologies, we are experts in the science, art and innovation of color and flavor. We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to join our team to manage compliance of product information that meets regulations both locally and internationally. In this role, the Regulatory Specialist will assure the compliance of raw materials and products with appropriate regulations, provide regulatory data and conformity declarations, and serve as a regulatory resource to internal and external customers.

What

you will do
  • Support internal customers (including Regulatory Finished Goods, Procurement, Research & Development, Quality Assurance) by interpreting regulations, gathering information to address external customer needs and providing guidance by accurately maintaining raw materials information.
  • Implement new national and international regulations within the team and for the organization.
  • Participate in national and international project teams and conduct regulatory presentations to inform, train and advise internal customers on regulatory topics.
  • Utilize authorized Sensient Technologies systems (e.g., PLM) for maximum efficiency and consistency.
  • Develop relationships inside and outside the organization to enhance personal and company effectiveness.
What you will bring
  • A university degree in chemistry, food technology or a similar field.
  • Intermediate level of regulatory experience in the food ingredients industry, with experience in food flavors preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to gain and apply extensive knowledge of regional and international food regulations and their application; ability to review, interpret and summarize technical information.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; experience with a computerized inventory management program (PLM) is beneficial.
  • Professional English language skills (written and verbal). Additional language proficiencies are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks effectively, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
