As part of our great team here at DTFS, we have an exciting opportunity for an ICS and Quality Assurance Co-ordinator.

We’re looking for someone to be the central point of contact and compliance advisor within Daimler Truck Financial Services UK for all internal control and quality matters.

This role is perfect if you’d like to be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the end-to-end Internal Control System (ICS) cycle in line with group timelines, ensuring robust operational governance, and driving continuous process quality assurance across all business units.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Working in this role you will:

  • Act as the central point of contact for all ISC matters within the UK entity, coordinating stakeholders including management, assessors, reviewers, auditors, Corporate ics, and IT ics Multipliers.
  • Plan, maintain, and monitor the end-to-end IC cycle in line with the mandatory IC Campaign Calendar, translating group timelines into detailed local action plans.
  • Perform and oversee entity-level risk assessments, scoping exercises, formal coverage testing, and documentation using group alignment templates.
  • Define, coordinate, and monitor effectiveness testing activities, test plans, and sample sizes for all local business and IT controls.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of Initial, Final, and Year-End Self-Assessments, uploading all ratings and supporting documentation into ICoM.
  • Coordinate Control Framework Assessments (CFA) by validating scope, conducting tests, tracking remediation, and securing required management approvals.
  • Conduct systematic quality audits of credit underwriting, payout, and customer service files to ensure accuracy and regulatory policy compliance.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to ensure compliance while driving operational efficiency and standardisation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors to streamline the planning and execution of all local entity audits.
THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH

You may have all/some of these skills:

  • Experience: Ideally 3 years of experience in internal controls (ICS), internal audit, quality assurance, or operational risk management.
  • Industry: Proven experience within the financial services sector (automotive captive finance or asset finance highly preferred).
  • Methodologies: Knowledge of project & process management (Lean and Six Sigma), business process mapping, and financial process control frameworks.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UK financial regulations and guidelines
  • Advisory & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively advise assessors/reviewers and present complex risk topics to senior leadership.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage complex data structures and tight group timelines.

You don’t bring everything with you? No problem! We look for skills but hire for attitude!
