Site Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to take full responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of works on site in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (EH&S) standards under CDM regulations, while maintaining programme, quality, and stakeholder coordination.
This role requires strong leadership capability and demonstrable experience across civils, electrical, and structural construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Compliance

Manage daily EH&S activities in accordance with CDM regulations

Review, approve, and supervise all issued RAMS

Control Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures

Manage and administer the Permit to Work system

Conduct weekly EHS site walks and produce reports

Deliver toolbox talks and ensure site safety briefings are completed

Maintain and control the Temporary Works register

Site & Contractor Management

Provide daily onsite leadership and supervision

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives

Conduct Siemens inductions for all contractors

Review and record contractor training and competency documentation

Manage contractor sign-in and sign-out procedures

Programme & Reporting

Manage and monitor the project programme onsite

Provide regular updates to the Siemens Project Manager

Maintain a daily Site Manager diary

Produce weekly Site Manager progress reports

Maintain and update the Project Health & Safety file structure within Siemens Share Point

Candidate Requirements

Essential

Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in civils, electrical, and structural construction

SMSTS qualification

IOSH qualification (relevant certification)

Black CSCS Card

Temporary Works Coordinator certification

First Aid qualification

Desirable

Level 6 NVQ in Site Management
