We are supporting a well‑established company in their search for a Project Manager, based from their offices in Buckingham. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in contractor side project delivery, particularly within environments involving complex installations or construction‑related services.

You will join a small, collaborative project team, managing multiple contracts simultaneously from order placement through to final account. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably, while maintaining exceptional service standards and anticipating client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects with full accountability for programme delivery and financial performance.
Monitor contract costs to ensure profitable outcomes across all assigned projects.
Prepare and submit applications for payment in line with contract schedules.
Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients, installers, and subcontractors.
Work closely with external QS partners to ensure accurate and timely commercial management.
Prepare project-specific RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
Collate and maintain all certification, QA documentation, and compliance records.
Manage contract variations and communicate any changes to scope or timelines clearly and promptly.
Order project materials and negotiate subcontract labour packages.
Lead and coordinate internal and subcontract labour teams to ensure effective site delivery.
Approve supplier and subcontractor invoices in line with project budgets.
Attend site meetings across the UK as required.
Conduct valuations during installation phases.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support smooth project progression.
Ensure variation orders are received, priced, approved, and aligned with programme requirements.

Ideal Background

Experience with in a specialist contractor environment particularly involving technical installation projects will be highly advantageous.
