Role Overview :
As an Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, taking ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission. Key responsibilities will include:
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Producing detailed take-offs and cost estimates Preparing accurate tender submissions and pricing packages Obtaining, reviewing, and negotiating subcontractor quotations Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options Attending site visits, tender meetings, and internal reviews Supporting handover to commercial and delivery teams Building strong relationships with supply chain partners and clients Estimator Candidate Requirements:
We are keen to speak with candidates who have: 37 years estimating experience within construction Experience pricing refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, or specialist construction works Strong commercial awareness and cost planning ability Ability to manage tenders with limited supervision Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills Strong knowledge of construction methods and sequencing Good proficiency with Excel and estimating / take-off software
