Planning, Design & Pre‑Construction
  • Work collaboratively with designers to ensure designs are safe, buildable, inclusive, and achievable within agreed timescales.
  • Plan and facilitate collaborative workshops where appropriate.
  • Ensure all regulatory and pre‑commencement requirements are completed before site start.
  • Oversee the timely setup of site offices and compounds.
  • Encourage the use of innovation, technology, and modern methods of construction where these add value.
Commercial & Project Delivery
  • Work closely with Commercial and Risk teams to manage costs, opportunities, and project risks.
  • Support the selection of supply chain partners that align with project values and requirements.
  • Lead construction teams and partners to deliver projects in line with agreed budget, programme, quality, and scope.
  • Ensure resources are planned effectively throughout the project lifecycle, including appropriate demobilisation and redeployment.
Stakeholder, Performance & Reporting
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of project team members in line with resource plans.
  • Engage with the Performance Team to ensure all Construction Performance Framework/Balanced Scorecard (CPF/BSC) scoring is completed and evidenced.
  • Maintain clear, timely, and accurate internal and external reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, adapting your approach to meet different needs and perspectives.

  • PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent project management qualification (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience managing complex construction projects or portfolios.
