We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee daily operations on a tunnels and shafts scheme, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and daily construction activities.
* Coordinate tunnelling, shaft construction, and civil engineering works.
* Monitor progress and ensure programme deadlines are met.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
* Report progress and site issues to project management.
Requirements
* Proven experience on tunnelling, shafts, or major civil engineering projects.
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
* Valid Gold or Black CSCS card.
* Valid First Aid certificate.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
