What You'll Be Doing As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive an outstanding service from order through to delivery. Working closely with Sales, Logistics, Manufacturing and Accounts, you'll help drive customer satisfaction and support business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer orders received via email and web portals.
- Responding promptly to customer enquiries and providing effective solutions.
- Managing customer complaints through our internal systems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Supporting our Key Account customers by delivering excellent service and maintaining strong relationships.
- Working closely with colleagues across Customer Service, Sales, Logistics and Finance to resolve customer issues.
- Liaising with our manufacturing and distribution partners in Belgium.
- Becoming knowledgeable about our products, promotions, pricing and new product launches.
- Supporting the Customer Service Manager with day-to-day activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparing reports and analysing customer, sales and service performance.
- Monitoring customer activity, trends and service metrics.
- Providing updates on complaints, logistics and order fulfilment performance.
- Producing professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and customer meetings.
- Attending customer meetings independently or alongside the Sales Team.
- Supporting business reviews and identifying opportunities to improve customer experience.
- Previous experience in a Customer Service, Customer Support or Account Support role.
- Experience supporting Key Accounts or working closely with Sales teams would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Customer-focused and passionate about delivering outstanding service.
- Energetic, motivated and keen to take ownership.
- Curious and eager to learn new systems and products.
- A natural relationship builder who enjoys collaborating with others.
- Calm under pressure and confident managing competing priorities.
- Someone who looks for opportunities to improve processes rather than simply following them.
