An architectural practice that executes large-scale commercial and residential newbuild projects is seeking a CDM Manager to mitigate design-stage risk within its portfolio. The role will be undertaken as Principal Designer working closely with in-house architects, with minimal site inspections due to the nature of the projects.

The successful CDM Manager will serve as Principal Designer and be responsible for limiting major and all CDM-related risk during the design stages. The role requires clear communication to ensure effective handover to the Principal Contractor.

The candidate should meet the following:

• At least 5 years experience in a CDM Principal Design or Design Risk Management role.
• NEBOSH Construction or a relevant level 3 equivalent H&S / NEBOSH certificate.
• Architectural degree or higher is advantageous.
• Experience working in an architectural practice is advantageous.

The salary is negotiable based on ability and experience, with the following as a guide:
