We are committed to placing each child at the centre of decision‑making, ensuring that education and therapy professionals, parents/carers and local authority teams work together to secure outstanding outcomes. As a trauma and attachment‑informed organisation, all staff receive extensive therapeutic training and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level, supporting children with complex and challenging behaviours as well as a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties.
- Know the child, build professional, nurturing and positive relationships and motivate students.
- Plan exciting and engaging learning opportunities that challenge and push students, whether they are working on the very basics or on a special talent or passion.
- Participate in decision‑making that drives the school, contributes to the academic curriculum and develops the extra‑curricular offer, bringing personal interests and passions into the table.
- Support the safeguarding and welfare of children, hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check and comply with the school's Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
Qualified Primary Teacher with the ability/willingness to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level. High aspirations for children and a commitment to the value of qualifications. Experience working with children who require intensive therapeutic support is highly desirable.
