Daily Rate: £90 - £120 (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs. This is a pivotal role where you will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver bespoke interventions that foster emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, and academic engagement.
Responsibilities- Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and additional needs
- Implement and adapt personalised learning, behaviour, and emotional support strategies
- Foster a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage positive behavioural choices, resilience, and emotional growth
- Liaise with staff, parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure a consistent support network
- Track student progress, identify areas for development, and contribute to review meetings
- Proven experience supporting young people with SEMH or complex behavioural needs (essential)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA Certification, or Psychology/SEN-related degree)
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm under pressure
- Confident team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexible, reflective, and willing to continually develop your practice
